Are You Losing Your Internet-Riches Mind?

Well, are you?

I think I loose my Internet-Riches mind at least three times a day!

In my in-box every day, there are emails from people asking me what to do next after they've signed up for multiple, multiple online money making opportunities.

What to do next?

STOP!

Stop signing up for every get rich quick website that comes across your computer screen!! If you've got a million dollars to invest in advertising all those opportunities, then go ahead, sign up, and pay the piper; but, if you don't have any money to invest in advertising, then stop wasting some of your hard-earned money on the hope of hitting it rich, acting like you're buying lottery tickets.

Personal note: I do not play the lottery because I would rather spend the dollar advertising my online opportunity to get rich, than hoping to get rich buying a chance to get rich.

If you have signed up for an online opportunity, it is in your best business interest to focus on getting it into profit.  Because, once your opportunity is in profit, consistently, then you can venture out to the Internet-Riches land and pursue more gold!!

Below, I will post an email I received this morning, and the advice I gave to the individual. The name and opportunities have been changed to protect privacy.

Eric, I am not sure why I just saw this Email. But yes, I would like some help. This opportunity page is overwhelming to me. I have no idea where to start. I do need to make money and will be looking at some thing called that other opportunity. I have been advertising heavily with my first opportunity. If you would like to suggest a starting place for me, please do.
Thank you

Hello Jane Doe,

I'd be glad to help you!

First, it looks like you've got your hands full, and are getting fuller by the minute. My first advice is to slow down for a second and refrain from signing up for any other programs about making money online (including signing up to this opportunity) - you will get even more lost than you are now. You need to stick with one opportunity until you can, first, break-even, and, then into a profit situation before moving on.  And, to do that you need to learn how to create website traffic!

I don't know what that other opportunity is, so, if you could send a website link, then I could give some advice for that one.

The first opportunity seems like a good system designed for off-line businesses to start using your on-line product to increase their productivity. Also, your first opportunity is focused in your local area. Since, you are invested here, let's work on this one. This is what I would do to get people to your affiliate link (do you know what your affiliate link is?).

  1. google search for the term "local area free classified ads" and post your link to as many of those places as possible.
  2. business cards with your affiliate link on it: (a) drop them everywhere - seriously, I drop cards on benches, bathrooms, on drive ways, and every place I go out to eat. (b) give them away to everyone - I give cards to mail people, ups drivers, grass-cutters in my neighborhood, guys fixing my car, and servers at restaurants. When you give cards to someone, don't say anything but take a look, my website will explain everything for me. Never Explain Your Business! If they won't go because you won't explain, say o.k., keep it mind or give it to someone else - then, end the conversation about your business. Leave it in the back of their minds and on their conscious, not yours - you did your part (Sousa Method).
  3. take your affiliate link and put it in the places listed on my website - http://erixonline.ws
  4. contact me if you need more help

Have a Great Day JaneDoe!

Warm Regards,

Eric

End my reply:

The whole point of my email was to STOP them from signing up to any more money making programs.  No more.  The person has invested money into a yearly program, and should learn what to do to break even.  And, the first step to do that requires the person to learn to ignore all the other opportunities, period.  Exclamation Point!  Why?  Because, if the person can't fulfill the obligations of the first opportunity, how can they fulfill the obligations of the next one?  Slow down.  You can't skip any steps to the land of Internet-Riches.  Buying an opportunity, only, will not make you rich.

  1. Hi Eric,
I agree with you. It takes a lot of advertising to promote each opportunity. If you sign up for too many, then you spread your advertising credits too thin.
